Warranty and Limitation of Liability
Visit Shadeinfo.com to register your product(s) and activate your warranty. The warranty applies only to the original owner and only when product is purchased from an authorized seller. Proof of purchase is required for all warranty claims:
Warranty covers manufacturing defects as follows:
– PVC Shades: fabric for five (5) years, hardware and rechargeable motors for two (2) years, plug-in motors for five (5) years
– HDPE Shades: fabric for five (5) years, hardware for one (1) year
Shades/hardware will be repaired or replaced solely at the manufacturer’s option. Damage due to improper use is not covered by the warranty (e.g. leaving shade down in high winds, flame exposure, etc.). Damage due to improper installation is not covered by the warranty (e.g. installing on unstable surfaces, using shorter screws than those provided by the manufacturer, etc). Fading of fabric or hardware as a result of UV exposure is not covered by the warranty. Any alterations made to your shade are not covered by the warranty (e.g. cutting your fabric, making changes to the hardware, etc.)
This limited warranty is in lieu of all other warranties, express or implied, including all other obligations or liabilities on Seller’s part. Seller neither assumes nor authorizes any person to assume for Seller, any other liability in connection with the sale of the product. In no event shall Seller be liable for any direct, indirect, punitive, special, incidental, consequential, or exemplary damages arising out of use of Seller’s product(s). The parties intend the foregoing exclusion of liability as an independent agreement apart from the sole and exclusive remedies herein.
Return & Refund Policy
Written authorization is required for all returns. For any damages or shortages, we must be notified within 7 days of the receipt of goods. All shortages or damages for freight shipments must be notated on the BOL (Bill of Lading) at the time of delivery. All shortages and damages must be photographed and submitted before approval will be issued. Risk of loss passes to the buyer when the product is delivered and a proof of delivery (POD) is issued. All products that are returned must be shipped at your expense. Please pack your return carefully, products must arrive in resaleable condition in order to qualify for a refund. A 15% restocking fee will be applied if we need to remove stickers or labels from the product, or if the product needs to be repackaged. Customized products are not returnable. Products that qualify for a refund will be refunded the amount of the original purchase price (shipping excluded). Refund processing takes up to 10 business days once any returned merchandise has been received. Once the refund has been processed, the refund will post to the original payment method used in the purchase transaction.
